Set against three evocative locations—the Olmo Park in Guastalla, the Trebbia Valley, and the Parcellara lava stone—this poetic visual and musical experience celebrates water’s symbolic power, its role as a source of renewal, and its deep connection to mystery and spirituality. An immersive tribute that invites viewers to rediscover the element that has shaped us and continues to influence our existence.

This film was born from a personal urgency: to understand, through the eyes of others, what we truly mean by consciousness. After years of working as photographers and filmmakers, we felt the need to explore less visible, more intimate territories—allowing the language of listening and silence to take the place of controlled imagery.

in COSCIENZA is both an experiment and a journey of exploration: it does not aim to provide answers, but rather to open spaces for reflection. It was made without funding, using only our personal resources, because we felt this path had to be taken regardless of time or return.

The continuous dialogue between us allowed for the blending of different yet complementary perspectives: a symbolic and aesthetic gaze met a more systemic and intuitive sensitivity. This exchange shaped a film that is, above all, a shared act of inquiry and awareness.
